Built through the Tauri shell rather than cargo directly — Xcode owns the app target and links the Rust code as a static library. Requires the full Xcode app on macOS; run pnpm run ios:doctor to check.

pnpm run ios:install # build + install a standalone app on a connected iPadios:install is the one that leaves something usable behind: it compiles the UI into the app instead of pointing it at a dev server, signs it with a free Apple ID, and installs it over the existing pairing. The app is universal, so it works on an iPhone as well as an iPad. No paid Apple Developer Program — the trade is that a free signature lasts seven days, after which you re-run it.
